the night blanket

Oh moonlight crescent
the glare
the stare
i feel the wrath
i cannot care
I find the night
like my silky hair
blankets my face
hides my shame
disgrace
i drink my poison
and watch life fade
this brigade
must end
i lie
in shade
myself
the night
and this life
I've made

This poem makes me think of Romeo and Juliet. Romeo feeling shame as he gazes upon the "supposed" dead Juliet, he drinks true poison. Good poem!
